Trump faucets Military head Gen. Mark Milley as Joint Chiefs of Workers chairman


President Trump has named Military head Gen. Mark Milley as the subsequent chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Workers.

“I’m happy to announce my nomination of four-star Common Mark Milley, Chief of Workers of america Military – because the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Workers, changing Common Joe Dunford, who shall be retiring,” Trump tweeted Saturday morning.

“I’m grateful to each of those unbelievable males for his or her service to our Nation! Date of transition to be decided.”

The Joint Chiefs of Workers function the manager department’s prime army advisers. They work with the president, the secretary of protection and heads of different departments to coordinate and plan operations.

Princeton-educated Milley, 60, has served 4 many years within the Military, together with command positions in Iraq and Afghanistan. He has been Military chief of employees since 2015.

Dunford is about to retire round subsequent summer season.
