SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KGO) — The state meeting has simply voted to approve Governor Newsom’s plan to vary the way in which wildfire damages are paid in California.

The invoice creates a brand new $21 billion fund to compensate victims of wildfires attributable to energy traces.
