The Cessna 172 crashed on Clarendon Drive in Valley Stream — roughly two miles northeast of JFK airport — round 10:20 p.m., in accordance with the FAA.
Preliminary studies point out that three individuals had been on board the small, single engine, mounted wing 4-seater plane on the time of the crash – however there have been no studies of any accidents, in accordance with legislation enforcement and aviation officers.
It’s unclear if the aircraft struck a residence, however officers say there seems to be no explosion, fireplace or structural injury.
“At this level there’s a small plane down [on] Clarendon drive. It struck a phone pole,” in accordance with police.
“We now have no aided at the moment.”
The FAA is investigating the reason for the crash.
