Native unique: ABC7 Information interviews administrators of movie 'The Final Black Man in San Francisco'


SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — The movie, ‘The Final Black Man in San Francisco,’ stars and was directed by two San Francisco natives, Jimmie Fails and Joe Talbot.

The movie picked up two awards on the Sundance movie pageant and is slated to be launched nation-wide in June.

The story facilities across the fictional character Jimmie Fails however is impressed by the true man. The character has goals of reclaiming the Victorian dwelling his grandfather in-built San Francisco, whereas additionally trying to find belonging in a quickly altering neighborhood.

The movie addresses gentrification, affordability, and race. Talbot stated it is also a narrative about “friendship.”
