Lacking Marines declared lifeless in warplanes crash off Japan


5 Marines who’ve been lacking since their aircraft collided with one other jet close to Japan have been declared lifeless, officers mentioned Monday evening.

The crew members have been on a refueling plane once they slammed right into a fighter jet off of Japan’s southern coast final Thursday, navy officers mentioned.

The U.S. navy had been looking for the lacking Marines, however suspended the search Monday and declared them lifeless. Their names weren’t instantly launched.

Two crew members on the fighter jet have been rescued after the collision, however one later died.

The Marines have been stationed at an air base close to Hiroshima.
