CBS’ top HR exec under former CEO Les Moonves is getting a princely $6.1 million payout, according to an SEC filing Friday.
Anthony Ambrosio, the chief human resources and chief administrative officer, who began his career at CBS in 1985, was handed his walking papers earlier this week under interim CEO Joseph Ianniello. In addition to the fat payout, Ambrosio exits the Tiffany Network with an eight-month consulting gig worth $800,000. CBS can then retain the exec for $100,000 a month. CBS said Laurie Rosenfield will fill the exec’s shoes in the newly created role of chief people officer.
Ambrosio’s exit comes as the network is in the midst of two probes by outside law firms that are looking into sexual misconduct allegations against Moonves, who resigned in September, and a probe over the company’s culture.
