Girlfriends Guide to Divorce The TV show Girlfriends Guide to Divorce, starring Lisa Edelstein, has been a greatly anticipated show, which the Bravo network is very proud to premiere. Bravo writes: Bravo is thrilled to debut our very first scripted show, Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce, tomorrow at 10/9c. Based on the popular book series by Vicki Iovine, it stars Lisa Edelstein as Abby, who tries to navigate her life and career while going through a divorce and raising children. The synopsis of the show reads: After publicly admitting that she has separated from her husband, Jake (Paul Adelstein, Private Practice), America’s once-favorite girlfriend finds her career and marriage in a free fall. As she starts to navigate life as a single woman in her 40s, Abby turns to her new divorced friends, rather than her married ones, for advice.

Now let’s navigate through the gallery to get to know each of the cast members on the show, starting with Abby, played by Lisa Edelstein. Lisa Edelstein is actually a newlywed, married to a man named Robert Russell, so filming a show about divorce was an interesting turn of events for the just married woman. Edelstein told Bravo: Well, the day after we got married I left to start shooting a show about divorce! But we had an amazing summer. The whole family came up to Canada (we shot mostly in Vancouver) and it was fantastic. I never needed to get married but it’s a nice feeling. I like calling him my husband. It carries a lot more weight in the world then my boyfriend. The kids love it, too. Being an official step-mom is a lot different than being an almost-official one. Edelstein has acted alongside many big Hollywood legends and many remember her as the girlfriend of George Costanza on the sitcom Seinfeld.

This season marks the final of Bravo’s Girlfriends Guide to Divorce, which follows a close group of friends and their love lives.

This season will bring with it all the drama. Jo and Albert’s relationship seems to be on the rocks, as does Barbara and Darrell’s, after she lets a former partner back into her life. In the trailer for tonight’s episode, fans are also shocked to see Delia getting a pregnancy test.

And, perhaps unsurprisingly for all those GGTF fans out there, Abby and Jake still can’t seem to get rid of one another.
