Delta Airways employee killed in tug accident at JFK Airport


A Delta Airways employee was killed at JFK Airport on Wednesday afternoon when an airplane tug hit him, a report mentioned.

The employee was struck by the tug close to Terminal four at about 3:30 p.m. and was later pronounced useless, in response to ABC New York.

Different employees then used a forklift to attempt to pry the tug off of him, in response to the report.

Delta is investigating the incident, a spokesperson mentioned.

“The Delta group is grieving right now following the lack of considered one of our personal,” the corporate mentioned in a press release.

“We’re extraordinarily saddened by the passing of a JFK below-wing worker and have prolonged our full assist to his household and colleagues throughout this extremely troublesome time,” they added.
