A South Carolina lady was bitten by a nine-foot alligator whereas strolling her canine on Monday evening, police mentioned.
The 68-year-old lady was strolling her canine close to a pond in Solar Metropolis at about 10 p.m. when the huge animal attacked her, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Workplace mentioned in a press release.
The lady was bitten on her hand, wrist and leg, the police division mentioned.
Alligator trappers which can be contracted by the state have been dispatched to the realm and captured the alligator after it darted out of the pond, authorities mentioned.
The animal was euthanized after it was captured.
The injured lady is recovering in a neighborhood hospital, police mentioned.
